About Sarah
Born in South Africa, comedian Sarah Tollemache was raised in Houston,
Texas, where she began her career as a comic. Sarah has released 2 specials: B*tthole Money (2024) and Voluptuous Boy (2021), with over 500k views combined.
Since leaving her hometown for New York City in 2007, Sarah has appeared on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and The Late Late Show with James Corden. Sarah formerly hosted the Lady Journey Podcast with comedian Katie Hannigan, which ran for 4 seasons.
Outside of stand up and touring, Sarah is married to comedian and loving husband Joe List, host of Tuesdays with Stories!;
they have one child, a baby boy, and reside in New York. Sarah and Joe have been featured
in podcasts, television, and movies together, notably documentary Anxiety Club (2025), Fourth of July (2022), Roast Battle by Comedy Central, Stavvy's World, Are You Garbage, We Might Be Drunk, and more.
