About Mark
Born and raised in New Orleans, Mark "Kevin Hart" Normand is a top
stand-up comedian based in New York City. Mark has co-hosted the Tuesdays with Stories! comedy podcast with comedian Joe List since 2014.
Mark began comedy after studying at the New York Film Academy and
graduating from Southeastern Louisiana University. He quickly gained popularity, making
appearances at numerous festivals like Just for Laughs in 2013, and appearing on
shows like Conan (TBS), The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, and The Late Late Show with James Corden.
In 2014, Normand released his first half hour special on Comedy Central's The Half Hour (Season 3, Episode 11), which led to the release of his first comedy album Still Got It. Since then, Mark has released 4 other specials, notably Out To Lunch on YouTube, his first hour-long special Soup To Nuts on Netflix, and most recently None Too Pleased in 2026.
Mark is married to comedian Mae Planert,
and they have one child. Mark and Mae appeared together in Mark's popular sketch short Brightside (directed by Matt Salacuse).
