About Hot Goss Cold Ice
Hot Goss Cold Ice is a comedy podcast show created by former hockey
players and comedians Mae Planert and Jen Keefe in collaboration with Bravo TV, where Mae &
Jen talk gossip and hockey (Mae played high school hockey, Jen played college hockey), and
sometimes do it while skating on ice!
Hot Goss Cold Ice was launched in
late May 2026 (fitting for Mae Planert!) and is becoming one of the best podcasts hosted
on ice by two comedians in 2026. Among their most popular video releases feature Mae's
husband, comedian Mark Normand of Tuesdays with Stories with Joe List, skates (and falls) with Mae,
responds to questions about Mae's mom, and jokes with his wife. Some podcast segments are
recorded in Mark & Mae's house, in the same studio area that Tuesdays with Stories is currently recorded in. The name "Hot Goss Cold Ice" refers to the juxtaposition of hot
gossip to cold ice in ice hockey rinks.
