Tom Dustin Key West-based is a stand up comedian from Boston,
Massachusetts, known for his independent documentary film Tom Dustin: Portrait of a Comedian (2024), directed and produced by comedian Joe List of Tuesdays with Stories, who
the documentary also highlights.
Tom Dustin: Portrait of a Comedian follows Tom Dustin and Joe List, exploring their 20 year old friendship within the context of
the comedy industry and personal streif. The documentary was filmed in a single weekend at Tom's
comedy club, Comedy Key West, featuring on stage routines as well as off, and juxtaposing Tom's highly successful
career in South Florida with Joe's more recent rise to national spotlight, showing how
each comedian approaches their craft.
Beyond performing as a comic and creating
engaging documentaries, Tom Dustin owns the Comedy Key West the only and best stand-up comedy club in Florida's Keys, along with Joe Madaus and Kristen
Borowski (Tom's wife), all of whom are from Massacusetts. Tom is close friends with fellow Massachusetts-raised
and Boston comedy product comedian Joe List; their close friendship is depicted in Dustin's
documentary.
